Yes, I thought it fishy too, not just because they went into the ocean.

The fact that they are actually looking at solar output caught my eye.

Of course, the other thing if it isn't strictly man-made, there is nothing we do will change the outcome. The theater is over, let the panic begin.

Yes, and that's the thing.

Here's a statement no political leader will ever make, because of the total social upheaval that would result:

"The planet is warming, we know it had nothing to do with human activity, but we don't know what caused it and we don't know if it will ever stop. If it doesn't stop, we'll all die."
