Finished my Naruto amv this morning. I had a lot of fun with this one and have wanted to make it since forever, it seems. If you've got the time, check it out!

awww i love that video! seriously! i really like how it's not focused specifically on one pairing or person, because Naruto sometimes seems like he has a lot to prove to everyone. and i also love the double meaning... because 'walk on water' in the context of Naruto, especially as you showed it in the video, is also pretty literal. as in, does he have to get good enough with his chakra control, does he have to train enough, to prove himself to others? and he does, if he wants to be Hokage. he has to prove himself more than anyone else does simply because of who he is ( ... )

I like it! The song is fitting both in a literal sense and its deeper meaning, which is always good.

But that clip that focuses on the back of Sauske's neck? I know the point is to illustrate the change after he gets all infected or whatever, but I kept thinking about how, in traditional Japanese culture, the back of the neck and shoulders is supposed be uber-sexy... So I got pervy Naruto-gazing-at-Sauske thoughts in my head. Pretty thoughts, but probably not what you were going for... ::thwaps self:: Bad Ang!

Now since when I'm I gonna be upset for you having pervy NaruSasu thoughts? I pretty much demand them from you, you know, because of Tom. (I'll have you know even my mom thinks they're gay :3)

Now there was a Naruto AMV I actually like! You always make such amazing song choices and this one, as soon as it started, was like someone hit me over the head with a clue. It was so perfect! Your scene choices were also very good, especially the bits with Juraiya and the intensity of that fight against Kiba. I have to say that after that video I came away with good, positive feelings about Naruto (something that's been lacking for a long time, esp. since I find the dub voice EXTREMELY irritating) and about the series as a whole up to that point.

My feelings about Naruto are so love/hate; half the time I'm torn between frustration and joygasms at it's character relationships. I sometimes wish Oda would instill just a bit more of those inter-character emo-ness (without all the drama, though) He starts to, but then he justs wraps it up to quickly, or often not at all (examples Luffy/Zoro fight on the bounty hunter's island, Usopp's Strawhat defection. Chopper going Rumleball 3)
