Be Seeing It

Am still watching The Prisoner. Something I definitely didn't realize on my initial limited encounters with this show: it's occasionally kind of hilarious, in a sly, subtle sort of way.

Also, Patrick McGoohan has very pretty blue eyes.

And look! I snagged an icon!

Its dry humour is one reason I enjoyed the show immensely.
Ooh nice icon. Lovely eyes too!

Really, nobody does dry humor like the British. I love it. :)

The icon, by the way, is by swanboat_icons.

I watched most of the show in a group (DW fan club), which I think made it easier to get the humor (especially since some members had already seen all the episodes before).

Patrick McGoohan . . . gee, I need an icon.

(Tried to watch that remake on cable; got through two hours and wanted them both back. I think BH eventually got through all six hours. I just went to ask him if it was worth it. He refused to answer the question as asked but said, "I'm glad it was only six hours.")

PS: It's almost impossible to get the eyes to show in a 100x100 icon.

The full prettiness of said eyes, alas, only seems to be clear in close-ups on the TV screen. Still, that is good icon. :)

Even before I started watching the original in earnest, the idea of doing a remake made absolutely no sense to me. It makes even less sense now.

He does indeed have very pretty blue eyes. And Priz is, in fact, very drily funny, usually in a slightly cutting way.

Ah, yes, I have seen the dreamy party one. Although watching that clip made me chuckle more than I think it did the first time. It just gets better with repetition!
