Interestingly, This is the First Torchwood Fic I've Written. Sort Of.

I've not had the chance, as of yet, to watch either the Torchwood finale(s) or the debut of Sarah Jane's own spinoff (erm, unless you count K-9 and Company, but let's not). I did, however, finally write something for sarahafterdark, the community that asks the question "What would Torchwood be like if Sarah Jane were a member of the team?" and answers it with " ( Read more... )

Good stuff :) I'm all for more Sarah Jane, just about anywhere they want to put her...

I can't take credit for the idea of inserting Sarah into Torchwood, but I'm all in favor of it, myself. :)

Of course, one now wants to see some of the others in Torchwood too... like Leela, Jo, Peri and of course Mel...

I've always been weirdly fascinated by that particular scene in "Pyramids of Mars."

This is...gorgeous. Brilliant.

mtgat told me (from the other end of my sofa) to come and read and...WOW am I glad I did. I love the idea of Sarah and Jack just not talking about the Doctor, the note about never leaving a battle before it's over...anything Sarah.

mtgat said you're old school Who and B7 and...HI! I've had a crush on Sarah Jane and Lis since 1979 and managed to hit just the right time to do B7--long enough after the implosion that there wasn't a lot of weird going on but there were still Piles Of Zines and such.

Hi back atcha! And thanks. :) You know, it's interesting... I honestly never cared all that much for Sarah Jane back in the day, but over time, she's grown on me. A lot.

She was actually my favorite...also my first (First Companions are SUCH a powerful thing). I'm so glad she's grown on you and that you're writing her and...the Whovian Renaissance is making me all kinds of happy.

And now that I have the laptop back ... :)

I really like this piece. Nice use of the characters and the theme.

So glad both of you liked it! I actually feel kind of proud at how well I managed to fit the theme, even if I only managed to destroy one of the two planets. Or, really, just to mess it up a lot. :)
