The Last Batch of Fives

From mistraltoes:

Five things Avon would say if he spent a day with you (at work and home).
OR
Five Non-B7 characters that you would invite to a dinner at which Avon was the guest of honor.

I suspect Avon would say as little to me as possible, actually. So I'll do the second one.

1. Garak (from DS9)

2. Gregory House (from House, duh)

3. Scorpius (from Farscape)

4. Anya (from Buffy)

5. Bernard Black (from Black Books)

Hee. That's going to be the most entertaining dinner party ever. Although I suspect Avon's not going to be all that honored.

From redstarrobot:

Five ways "Cally's 7" rocked our socks as viewers. :)

1. Surprisingly high explosions-per-episode ratio.

2. Kick-ass chicks who were never relegated to teleport duty or to playing nursemaid to the men.

3. That climactic confrontation between Cally and Servalan, where Cally totally pwns her.

4. Cally's glam outfits.

5. That time an alien tried to possess her and she pretty much melted its brain.

Damn. I want to watch this now.

From pdxscaper:

Five things the Doctor [#9] would tell John Crichton.

1. That he should always be good to Moya and treat her right, because there's nothing in the universe like a good ship, and one who knows she's your friend will always take care of you.

2. Does he have any idea how incredibly dangerous messing about with wormholes and unrealized realities is? Does he? Does he realize how close he came to unravelling the very fabric of existence? Humans!

3. That Crichton is a pioneer, the first of his people to make it out this far, but he won't be the last. That humans will one day spread through the galaxy, and that Crichton played a part in making that happen. Mind you, some days the Doctor's not sure if that's a good thing, but he can't help admiring it, anyway.

4. That Crichton's own future is going to be an interesting time to live in. But when pressed for details, he just clams up and looks smug.

5. That he knows what it's like to set off a nuclear bomb in a field of flowers. That Crichton shouldn't ever forget what it's like. But that the only thing to do afterwards is to live. And that he thinks Crichton's got a pretty good start on that.

From lizamanynames:

Five Things Zhaan Wished She Told Stark.

1. That she was pregnant when she died and... Oh, wait, sorry, that story got jossed. :) (Or Kempered. Whatever.)

2. That she was sorry. Except she couldn't, because she wasn't, even if she was sorry for him.

3. That, if by the grace of the goddess he ever found himself able to go to Delvia, there were people and places there to whom she would like to be remembered, and among whom he might perhaps find a welcome.

4. That she doesn't believe he needs her, that she believes he is a strong enough person not to.

5. Not any one specific thing, just a wish that they'd simply had more time to talk. To discuss spirituality, to share thoughts and feelings (in conversation as well as in Unity), their memories of the past and their hopes for the future.

Man, that was a hard one, mostly because I think she did tell him the things she really wanted to in those last moments, both with words and without.

From sallymn:

5 People From Other series Avon Would want to Airlock.

1. Stark. Much as I love him... Oh, yeah. The crazy man would drive him crazy.

2. And so would Noranti, come to that.

3. Dylan Hunt, from Andromeda. Aargh, not another idealist!

4. Byron, from Babylon 5. Because who doesn't?

5. Fry from Futurama, because he's useless, a menace, a nuisance, and just generally makes Vila look good by contrast.

Um. Those were some strange choices. I think the sleep deprivation is really catching up with me...
