Dude, we ended up writing for each other! I thought your story was awesome, as I've already indicated on the feedback form. The characterizations were great. You always do a terrific Scorpius, but I hadn't read your Xev before, and I think you really captured both her sillyness and her depth as a character.

We did! Which I found rather amusing. Also a bit humbling, as I really do think the one you wrote for me was much better than the one I wrote for you, but, ah, well. :)

Aww, thanks! He's kind of fun to write. :) Although, looking over it again after it had been posted, I did kind of think that there's a place or two where I maybe went a little overboard with the hyper-analytical tone I took for him.

I hadn't read your Xev before,

That's because I've never written her before! And it was a huge challenge to do so this time. (Which is something I'll probably talk about a little bit later, whether anybody's actually interested or not. :)) If she worked for you at all, I'm very pleased and relieved.

I'm surprised to hear that's the first time you wrote Xev. You really captured her.

The only other time I've written Lexx at all was "Bribing the Boatman" (that other Farscape crossover), and Prince was the only Lexx character in that one. But it's very heartening to know that you think I got her right! She's a great character, I think, but not one who really talks to me.

Add another person to your list of people who enjoyed you story. I came to it from the Lexx direction. All I know of Farscape is from your fic, which may or may not be a good thing.

It's a strange thing, at the very least. I have no idea what kind of skewed ideas about Farscape you might get from my fic. :)

I know just enough about Zev to appretiate this...

I have to say, I like the Lexx characters when I run into them in fic. But when I go and try to watch the show again - jesus. It's just not worth it.

They're really good, surprisingly three-dimensional characters. But, yeah, I totally understand your difficulties with the show. Even for the good episodes, you have to be able to get into exactly the right mindset for them, because they're pretty much complete crack. And the bad episodes... are painful.
