OK, having declared my Choose Your Own Companion fic done, I see that other people are already starting to post theirs (although it looks like the master list hasn't been updated recently). I am therefore posting mine, if only so I can cross it off my to-do list. Here ya go!

ha! Very amusing :) I really like your Fourth Doctor voice, and it seems like Vila and the Doctor might make a good team ;)

Not his fault for abandoning Blake and the others, then. Couldn't be helped, could it? It didn't make you a coward or a bad friend if you left because you'd been kidnapped by an alien.

There's something very Rygel-esque about this bit; dunno Vila but he seems to be a fend-for-yourself kind of guy, eh?

I think they would make a good team, actually. I'd love to read their further adventures, although I'm not going to be the one writing them. :) (Fortunately, vilakins is writing the same combination. I'm really looking forward to seeing her take on it.)

Vila's kind of interesting, because he really is basically a nice guy, and he likes having friends... But the B7 universe is pretty much a place where you have to be fend-for-yourself, and hanging out with the people he has been is highly dangerous to his own skin, which he does regard as extremely precious. :)

(Actually, it's occurred to me Rygel would fit into the B7 universe frighteningly well, if he weren't a tiny green alien.)

I want to see Rygel and Vila together now, just... imagining the conversations makes my brain hurt the good way. 8-) I can hear Vila saying "You're just like Avon, only smaller and greener. No fun at all.":)

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE:). It works, yes. I'm still stunned people can actually write Four, he's so hard to pin down, as it were. Even though this left me wanting more, like Marian's story--want more adventures with Vila as companion! Hee:).

Four is interesting to write, because he can go off in so many directions. Often at the same time. :)

And, yeah, it occurred to me when I started writing this that it really does read like a good intro to a much longer fic, but I just don't have the time, energy, or inspiration to follow up on it, I don't think. If anybody else wants to write a sequel, they have my blessing. :)

And I still need to reed Marian's story, but it's going to have to wait, as there are RL things I really ought to be doing about now...

Really, it is a lovely bit of duo-characterization and practically begs for a sequel.

*grin* The same thing happened to me with my companion story, I knew before I was halfway through that it was trying to seduce me into writing more. I generally slide out of that by telling the story 'yes, of course, you're right, I'll get right on it! Later.'

Poor Vila, though, if he thinks things are going to be more peaceful with the Doctor. He has the same tendency to get in the middle of a disaster about every week as the B7 crew does. :^) I hope they at least spent some time on a nice holiday resort before meeting hairy aliens. Doctor 4 met a lot of hairy aliens.

Or possibly more of one! But at least Doctor Who has a lower mortality rate than B7. :)

Beautiful Vila voice, as others have said, and perfect four voice.

There's probably some kind of signficance to that, but it might just be that the fourth Doctor's the most familiar one to a lot of people. :)

Yep. Michael Keating was even a guest actor in one of the 4th Doctor eps. (Early on I considered having the Doctor mentioning that Vila looked familiar, but it didn't really fit. :))

Also, that's a lovely new Four/Romana icon!

Whee! Oooh, can we have more adventures?

I particularly liked how you displayed the Doctor flipping between grins and completely serious, like when he saw the bodies.
