We first met in college but apparently that was our second meeting. During senior year in high school, there was this inter-school camping event and your site was just right across from ours. I couldn't remember you were there but I could clearly remember one of your friends and she was screaming on the first night that alarmed the people around.
When I first saw you in campus, I thought you're really cute. You had this short hair, and bright eyes when smiling. Not too long into the school year, I joined your group of friends and we became close. Came summer of that same school year, I asked you to help me in studying my math lessons and you were more than willing to help.
I didn't know how it happened but it just did. We were taking a short break from studying when you asked me my I didn't like hugs. My tendency to block out all physical contact seemed to intrigue you. One day, you asked if it's alright to hug me and hesitantly, I said yes. That day, I realized hugs weren't that bad at all, especially coming from you.
A lot of things happened in the coming months. We shared more hugs, more secrets, and unintentionally, more kisses. Who knew we'd end up sort of like together?
Fast forward to a few years, we had our fair share of fights, you told me not to love you too much, and hell, we even broke up a couple of times. But all those silly things didn't matter. I would always come back to you. Because no one could make me happy like you did.
For the past 6 years, there were even more arguments, misunderstandings, and unreasonable cold shoulders. But you know, I would never trade these for anything else. There wasn't a day when I regretted being with you.
