“News flash. Designer Tiffany Hwang and business tycoon Kim Taeyeon of Kim Enterprises confirmed to be dating. The two was seen…”
“Why the hell is this even news?!” Taeyeon immediately turned off the TV upon seeing the news.
“Maybe it’s a slow day for them.” Tiffany shrugged and snatched the remote away, turning back the TV on. A footage of Kim Enterprises’ representative was shown on screen telling the media about the statement that they had prepared. The short speech was given then a couple of photos of the two during their date flashed right back at them. “Aww, we look so cute in that photo!” She pointed at the photo where she was clinging onto her girlfriend like there’s no tomorrow.
“That photo looks so stupid.” Taeyeon grimaced at the unsightly, in her opinion of course, photograph.
“Looks romantic to me.” She shifted to her side and smiled widely. “Just give it a week or two. It will be over before you know it.” She leaned forward for a short kiss on the girl’s pouting lips.
“Just give it a week or two. It will be over before you know it.” Taeyeon made a face while grumbling the words. “Shut up!”
“Okay, whatever you say.”
A few minutes had passed and true to her words, Tiffany didn’t say a word. All the sound that echoed inside the apartment came from the television and nowhere else. And that just annoyed her to no end, based on the frown plastered on Taeyeon’s face. “Shit. Will I ever win an argument with you?!” The girl only shrugged in return. “Fine. You’ve proven your point!” She flailed her hands in frustration. “Now stop ignoring me!”
Tiffany chuckled and pointed at her own lips.
“You want me to kiss you?!” The girl nodded. “Why the hell would I do that?!” An eyebrow to challenge her. “Shit. Fine!” Taeyeon ruffled her head before leaning forward to peck Tiffany’s lips. Little did she know, her girlfriend had an ulterior motive and they ended up making out on the couch. Their heated session was interrupted with Taeyeon’s phone ringing and the girl willed herself to detach from her girlfriend to reach out for the device.
“Is that message much more important than making out with me?” Tiffany asked with a sad pout.
“Sheesh. Keep it together, woman! I’m not going anywhere.” Taeyeon waved her off and tapped the unread message.
“What does it say?” Tiffany propped her chin on Taeyeon’s shoulder and peeked on the opened text message.
“Shikshin is inviting us for dinner this Friday.”
“Are we going?” She leaned forward to look at her expectantly.
“Do you want to?” Taeyeon knew it was a stupid question to ask because by the looks of those cute round eyes, Tiffany was already anticipating for it.
“Only if you’re going.” A cute giggle and soft lips met the girl’s cheek.
“Ugh. Women.” She shook her head in disbelief before typing a reply, confirming that they were going. “You happy now?” She turned back to Tiffany after placing her phone on the coffee table.
“I’ll be happier if we continue where we left off.”
“Hm. Fine.”
