I was super thrilled to see that my copy of the Bourne Legacy came with a digital copy, to download at the Universal website. I find digital copies much handier than DVDs so off I go, to download my complimentary copy. But when I go to their site, this is what I get ( Read more... )

At least it's a nice impromptu gift for a UK friend. :)

I never get my digital copies, my brother always runs off with them. D: D:

Would this make you feel better:
I live in the US. I buy my dvds/blu-rays from Amazon.com (the American site). I buy the American dvd, from the American retailer. 7/10 times, the copy I actually receive is the Canadian bilingual version. When I try to redeem my digital copy, iTunes tells me I can only do so in Canada.

'This is not how you discourage piracy. FU.'

Huh, tell me about it. I found out a while ago that, apparently, my legally-bought-and-downloaded amazon Kindle books apparently don't exactly belong to me, because amazon can delete them at any time.

yeah, that won't drive me to pirated books at all.

I read about that! The responses from that Amazon guy were the epitome of rudeness, too. Did he at least end up apologizing for their error and his obnoxious emails?

I'd be wary of bying books for Kindle too, after reading that.
