I don't know anything about Firefly but because it's you I don't have any trouble reading it at all. There's too many awesomeness in this that left me with speechless. And all the Sakumoto unresolved tension is just UNFFF.

You know I dug my Firefly (old and dusty, scratched DVDs, I wonder why I still have them) when you claimed the hell out of this prompt, and was planning for rewatch, and you wrote this episode, THIS EPISODE, ARGH. THIS IS UTTERLY AWESOME!

You renamed the ship, oooh, and the adventure they bound to encounter. EXCITED! AND BECKY AS KAYLEE, OMG I LOVE YOU, YOU DON'T EVEN. There's so many other things, Nino and Meisa, unffff. And Aiba, ohhhh, Aiba, I sense many things could come up from that fact. And Inara Jun is just perfection. XDD

I was a bit skeptical when I read Sho/Maki because I can't see them as a pairing but I was sure the Sho/Jun you wrote would prevent me from rolling my eyes.

I was completely engrossed in the story, and since I didn't know the story/Firefly I was misled by Maki as well :)

YOUR SHO/JUN IS ALWAYS SO WONDERFUL <3 The sexual tension. Oh, my heart. (and I love Jun-or any Arashi member- in a kimono)

And the sense of humor ! I loled when Meisa called for everyone when Sho only asked for Nino. And the reference to Sho's bad drawings.

I never thought of Meisa/Nino but they work well ! And the subtlety of Aiba/ Becky.

To conclude : PLEASE WRITE MORE OF THE UNIVERSE, I LOVED EVERYTHING. You said this wasn't even the first story in the series, I SENSE POTENTIAL THERE.

I'm not a Sho/Maki shipper either, but she really suited the kind of role I needed to cast her in. And I've left the door open in case I ever run out of ideas and need to bring her back :)

And I hope to keep up the Sho/Jun tension because it's the most fun to write, obviously!

I never know about firefly, but I really enjoy this.

Ah, 2002 when Firefly was originally on was my first semester of undergrad. BACK IN THE DAY!! I adored it so I can only hope to be 10% as awesome as the series.
