This time there wasn't much room for them to be completely Sho and Jun because I wanted to focus more on the universe I'd tossed them into, but I'm glad you liked it :)

ugh, this is amazing. and a little weird (is that ever a bad thing?) but mostly just amazing. you totally could've taken this to a silly "jun is such a bad matador but he does it for the ~beautiful outfits~" place, but the depth and seriousness worked so well.

and, you know, implied sakumoto is the best kind. ♥

i can so picture jun as a matador (i don't remember which concert it is, but didn't they have outfits like that? was it dal or kokuritsu '08?)! and sho as a schoolteacher.

and eeeeeeeeeeeeee, I TOTALLY SUPPORT THE SUSPENDER KINK!!! i adore suspenders. that's why i can't wait to see jun in one, didn't they say he has one for the 5 x 10 tour? lol.

I loved this. Your AUs are awesome and you can make Sho and Jun (and the rest of the crew, but especially Sho and Jun) work anywhere. I love how you set the traditional (and senseless?) violence of bullfighting against the immediate (and senseless?) violence of Civil War-era Spain. Also, Matador Jun! MataJun? *is bricked* <3 I'm not fond of this sport, but somehow Jun as a matador fits. The intensity and showmanship of the profession suits him (despite its cruelty... or maybe the cruelty adds to it?). I thought this passage was especially poetic:

He holds the cape reverently, still attempting to put on a respectful performance. He is beautiful and terrible. He is Spain unchanging.

Also, I am a firm believer that no one outside of Spain, anyway can rock a sequined matador outfit quite like Jun Matsumoto. NO ONE. XD
