If we ever thread Joshua and Xellos, I'll say he tops Xellos in that kind of control area and would be prepared for it. All my others (Roxas, Kilik, Lockon, etc.), but Joshua is definitely not. o/

I'm totally okay with mild harassment for both of mine o/ I don't think you'll even need more than mild harassment anyway to make Kohaku (The Chibi Angel one) cry. Kohaku's extremely easy like that, but that's also why I prefer to keep it on that level.

Also with Shiroe... I have no idea about Slayers canon so I don't know what Xellos can do at all, but do whatever you want, just don't mess directly with his memory/mind in any way. It pings him really bad and until I get more comfortable playing him, directly messing with his mind is a big nono. (Normal mindgames like trickery etc. are all ok though.)
