Is it wrong for me to feel jealous when someone succeeds in their dreams, when we share the same dream? This girl is 19 (my age)...she's planning her trip to Korea to become a singer. I don't think it's wrong. I often felt the same jealousy as you...why are they better, smarter or whatever. The advice I get from my spiritual guide is to count my blessing. There are a lot out there that is in a much worser situation than me, so I should learn to be more thankful of what I am right now. I hope it could make you feel better too ^^

i think there are two ways to look at every situation, and you need to train yourself to look at things in a way that will *help* you and not bring you down...sure, she's getting a break right now but instead of saying "she's making it, but i'm not, even though we're in similar situations" you can also say "someone like me can make it. i can make it too" - i know it seems trite, but i think at least acknowledging that things can be looked at in a way thats favorable to you will help you keep your motivation, so you can actually achieve what you set out to do!
