I don't think it's wrong. I often felt the same jealousy as you...why are they better, smarter or whatever. The advice I get from my spiritual guide is to count my blessing. There are a lot out there that is in a much worser situation than me, so I should learn to be more thankful of what I am right now. I hope it could make you feel better too ^^

i think there are two ways to look at every situation, and you need to train yourself to look at things in a way that will *help* you and not bring you down...sure, she's getting a break right now but instead of saying "she's making it, but i'm not, even though we're in similar situations" you can also say "someone like me can make it. i can make it too" - i know it seems trite, but i think at least acknowledging that things can be looked at in a way thats favorable to you will help you keep your motivation, so you can actually achieve what you set out to do!
