Sometime Wednesday night, we lost power. Just as DH was coming home after his 4-hour commute, actually. We sent the kids to Son the Elder's friends' house Thursday morning, figuring we were all without power, so what difference did it make anyway. Yeah, well, PEPCO was already in trouble with the county from last year, and isn't doing itself any favors this go around.

Pepco isn't great around here, but really, at least they have the excuse of tree limbs down everywhere. Back in Arlington they could only blame it on the power hungry squirrels. Then again, we did have a squirrel knock out our power down here, too. But I saw that one...
