Have you ever get local anaesthetic?
How did it feel?
Would you still be able to hear clinking sound of those doctor’s equipments above your head?
Can you feel it, when those equipments cut through your skin?  *Imagine it really made me sick… (--“)

oh my...I'm sorry to hear that mita-chan...
I never get local anaesthetic not operation before, and I hope I will never have to face it, but I perfectly understand your feeling. it's normal to feel nervous about it, I can't imagine about it as well, when we get local anaesthetic and have to see and feel everything T^T

maybe sleep earlier and listen to slow song?
I can't help with anything but I hope you will get better soon~ *hugs*

oh~ it's okay to feel nervous/anxious especially before a procedure and it's your first time so that's double the anxiety.
did the doctor mentioned to you what kind of procedure they will be doing? anou...probably they will do a fine needle biopsy then, but not sure though.
good luck, ne...you'll be fine... :)

coincidentally. i have the exact thing as you do, only it's on the left. and i dont have any other infection except for this lump/ swollen lymph nodes. im also due for biopsy this week.

for your question, yes you will hear the clink and clanks of the medical tools because you'll be awake. you wont feel a thing though, only the needle prick when injecting the LA. biopsy is a minor surgery, itll be over in about 30minutes or less. depends on the doctor. if you're really anxious maybe you could ask your doctor if you could bring an mp3 with you while doing the procedure.

goodluck for the procedure and the results! :)

Don't worry. Biopsies are really minor surgical procedures.
All you'll feel is the minute they administer the anesthesia.
I'll be just a few minute.
Take a good rest tonight ^_^
