Apparently I use baking as an emotional crutch. Who knew?

So I'm off work today because I feel like crap, but all I want to do is bake  these.  Having already baked this and this, I am confident in the wisdom of Deb. Though if I actually eat any of it I will probably be sick. Oh well, they'll last till tomorrow?

OMG it is. I totally recommend the shortbread. I tried it again today with blueberries.

I absolutely love baking. I do it when I have a million other things I have to do that I don't want to do. And pretty much whenever there are adequate supplies available. And shelf space in the fridge, I suppose, though I have been known to scarf down more than my fair share of some treat just to make room for a new one. It's a problem. And Smitten Kitchen and Tastespotting are NOT HELPING.

I don't know what pirate mini-golf is but I AM SO THERE.
