Avengers: Learning To Fly (Loki)

okay so, yeah, I didn't finish Revelations on the plane (at least two more chapters to go after all, d'oh).

I wrote this instead. Please heed the warnings/notes, this has some fantastical self-harm in it; I think it's ok but obviously YMMV!

With thanks to cesperanza for beta!

Hmm... I like this story but I'm of two minds about it. Its not really Gen, nor is it horrific enough to be scary. I feel as a reader that I'm following Loki's descent into madness, clear-eyed madness though for all the truths he seems to be uttering. It definitely needs a sequel. *hints*

I'm very curious which Loki meant by cutting himself on the tray and drawing blood - some kind of magic he was attempting?

I really liked this story; there's such a feeling of hope at the end. Thank you for writing it - you're on such a Loki-roll :D

This is amazing! I love how clearly and precisely you articulated Loki's thought process. And having Sigyn as one of his healers was a nice touch. The magpie is awesome too.
