Also, bexless's picspam proves IMO that Adam is a Gryffindor who (much to the aggravation of everyone else in the house) wishes he were a Slytherin, because omg, green and silver and snakes, okay! HE BOUGHT HIS ENTIRE WARDROBE BEFORE ( Read more... )

Frankly, your theory that he's really a Gryffindor looks pretty shaky to me. I mean, what does the guy have to do that he hasn't *already done* to prove to you that he's a Slytherin?!?

1. wear his house colors -- check!

2. in the form of glitter -- check!

3. while posing with snakes -- check!

Adam is who LeatherPants!Draco *dreamed* of being, but wasn't.

He confuses the Houses so much... Gryffindor loves him cuz he plays kick-ass Quidditch and sings all the Weird Sister songs in perfect pitch.... But why does he wear those colours... and the snakes love him, except not in the skeezy way they like Harry? Slytherin doesn't understand why Blaise Zabini and he are such pals... and when they ask Blaise he sings the wand song at them (the perv)....Hufflepuff loves him because he's just nice to them all the time... and Ravenclaw does not understand how someone can top Charms and Potions all the goddamn time and still fail Arithmancy and Transfiguration. Also he once charmed Snape's hair to bounce... and he's never forgiven him.

The first day American wizard Adam Lambert transferred to Hogwarts, the entire school felt it. There weren't any physical -- or magical -- explosions, but the foundations shook anyway, after Adam's sorting.

No one was quiet sure what to do with a Gryffindor who A) wasn't particularly enthused by Quidditch, B) liked (Green! Green!) glittery ... things, and C) had a disturbing affinity for snakes.

(The were rumors that Draco Malfoy tried to poison him within two meals, but those were never confirmed nor denied.)

"Kris," Adam says, draped over Kris should, "Kris, this is not right."

Kris finishes the paragraph of his book, slipping a bookmark in and closing it. "What isn't?" They'd been roommates in Salem, and, already pretty down to earth, Kris hasn't been phased by Adam in a long, long time.

"I'm in Gryffindor." Adam tells him, horrified. "Gryffindor! They want me to play Quidditch! They have no fashion sense ( ... )
