Holmes and Irene would both find irresistible, even when they also found it maddening.

This is a very good point, and I think you illustrated it really well in your fic.

Also, you are weird and awesome for pulling out a 5,000 word treat while we are wibbling waiting for uploading to close. :D

(also also, thanks for all your hard work!)

*Of course* you wrote my favorite story from this Yuletide and one of my favorite Merlin stories ever. After all, you've written some of my favorite stories in all the other fandoms I read. And this:

So, er, sequel coming soon?

Has me clapping my hands in glee. :)

Thank you again for writing this and for all the hard work you do for Yuletide every year!

...figures you wrote That Shall Achieve The Sword. It's the one I've been waiting with bated breath for the reveal on. Also, it means I now have two of your fics in the top tier of the Merlin recs post I'm in the middle of putting together.

Geez, astolat.

Awww, you wrote the Holmes/Adler (and Holmes/Watson) story! Yay!

I adore Irene Adler, but this is the first time I've read a story featuring her that worked for me. (I admit though, I am a sap and decided that Holmes would go back to Watson in all ways, after the end, so as to have a happy ending. *cough*)

You got no comments from me due to worries that I'd out myself by commenting on all the Holmes stories except my own, but I loved this story and recced it to Dorinda in chat. :-)

I guessed the Merlin story was yours, in a conversation with various people about style; you are the master of 'get right to it' in stories. However, there is something you do which tips me off faster than the pacing; perhaps you can guess what it is. *g*
