OK, so now I'm wiping my eyes after reading that poem, and thinking of poor ol' Rusty, whose resting place is unknown. Poor little awful adog that he was, I'll never forget the day he went flying through the house with a pair of my mother's pantyhose in his teeth.

Off to less important things! It's fascinating to me that someone whose writing style is so sophisticated lives in the Philipines. How is this possible? What cultural anomaly produced you? (I mean that in the kindest sense, of course. You're a good anomaly.) From my experience, and from the accounts of a Philipino roommate I had, it's not a place that produces many people who write like you do. I'd like to add you to my friends list, if that's alright. Reading you is vastly entertaining. Reading your journal, anyway. I'm of the mind that writing is the true measure of mind, but that's because I'm an intellectual elitist and I may be burned at the semantic stake one day.
