oho merry christmas too!!!

(i got immense luck this holiday and got a full set of those gundam EF figures .... one by one...in two trips to the same store.. Bright figure... ♥)

Wow, I cant even concieve of going back and re-playing FF7 what with all the hype over it as a mini-fandom.. but FFT.. i sure would love to replay! And I didn't know you read Vonnegut, how's Mother Night? I've been re-reading Oscar Wilde and stuff I never got to in high school~

Next on my list is FFT, Vagrant Story, maaaybe FFTA... before I'll let myself start FF12 e_e

Nice moves on blind-box selecting the full set... I forget, did I give you the list of where the characters were in my box? I'd be interested to know if it matched (though I suppose they might've been moved around by people looking at them in the store...)
It's too bad the Haro Cap Zabi Collection figures are pretty much too short to interact with the EFs... quite unfortunate.

Mother Night is one of the more direct novels of his I've read, compared to, say, Deadeye Dick or Slapstick. I'd relate it to Jailbird, in that both take a character in middle age, reflecting on their life and their efforts, and pondering just how much more effort is necessary, or worthy, or even possible for them. Both also bring the plot to a satisfying resolution in terms of the reader's broad, comprehensive view of events, but for the narrator's perspective, they trace a decline in the character's concern for these events. But I don't remember what the point of ( ... )

FFT is well worth it, even with bad spelling/grammar...! I dont think that line is all that vital to understanding FF12, but it does help appreciate the gameplay a bit. The battle system is a streamlined version of the same in Vagrant Story. I think FFTA is more of a precurser to FF12 than the first FFT game.. there were never different races in FFT.. just war between economic classes and religious fanatics, in the oldschool tradition.

you did give me a diagram of the figure layout, but the carton at the store were already outside of the big box and lined up in a row actually XD; so they were in a different configuration. It was pure blind luck... I got one double (Sayla, whodathunk! _._~) that a gave to a friend/fanboy.. Oh, the Zabi collection! I saw photos of those, they're new aren't they?? so chibi, yes, hahahaha.

hmmm... :3 I never finished Jailbird.. but Mother Night looks like it's worth picking up.. I haven't any good non-fiction in a while.. they apparently have two copies of this book at my library too.. oho...!

If you're looking for non-fiction, I'd have a whole different bunch of books to recommend...

That Sayla goes quite well with the EF First Gundam series 2 Amuro. Even better if you can manage to get Amuro's head off and remove the brown cloak.

Oh, no! I assure you, I would never speak publicly about that.

I was just going to postahvia: i bet that would be easier on wait mode but cloud said that's for beginniners and i don't want him to think badly of me
asterphage: wait mode, yeah
asterphage: you HAVE to turn on wait mode
ahvia: what really
ahvia: jesus christ has that been my problem all these years
asterphage: for a lot of the strategies i use at least
asterphage: because it depends so much on people doing the right thing at the right time and in the right order
asterphage: i turn the battle speed way up too, though
ahvia: me too
ahvia: but
ahvia: oh wow
ahvia: i've never been on wait mode all my life
asterphage: but in ATB mode you need the time that the enemies take to get their new turn!
asterphage: if you're in ATB mode with the speed all the way up then the enemy gets 3 turns while you're deciding what to do
ahvia: y-yeah
ahvia: but c-cloud said--

For the reference of others, I note that what I'm talking about (that requires Wait battle mode) is beating Ruby Weapon in very few turns by this strategy:
10 W-MAGIC "Life2" + "Regen"
20 ENEMY SKILL "Big Guard"
30 ITEM "Megalixir"
40 W-SUMMON "Knights of the Round" + "Knights of the Round";
50 MIME
60 MIME
70 GOTO 10
