[It's a voice not familiar to most, but it's certainly a voice familiar to Asbel. ...Somewhat, at least. He hasn't heard the voice in seven years, after all, but that tone, combined with calling those names, is pretty unmistakable, even to Asbel.]

...Cheria?

[Voice]

Yeah. I'm not really sure how to explain it, but... It's a communication device.

[Voice]

Communi... [That sounds complicated. But devices are usually small, right?

She starts brushing leaves out of the way, looking for the source of Asbel's voice. It's gotta be around here somewhere.]

Why... do you sound so... weird?

...Weird? [He doesn't think he sounds weird...]

Your voice... You sound old.

I-I'm not old! I'm only nineteen...

It's uhm... It's a forest. I don't think... it's anywhere near Balonia.

[Rustle rustle. Cheria shoves aside a bush and finally spots her journal lying on the ground. She picks it up and looks at the cover curiously, careful not to close it.]

[Voice]

[raizanshou]

A forest... [That's so helpful.]

Do you see a path, or a river nearby?

[Voice]

[sickly_angel]

... There's mountains... In the distance, beyond the treetops. [She pushes herself to her feet with some difficulty, one hand pressed up against her chest. Her lungs are still burning.]

Are... Are there supposed to be... paths in this forest?

[Voice]

[raizanshou]

[...Well, it's better than nothing, at least. Asbel heads out the door, though he keeps his journal on hand.]

Yeah. A lot of people traverse the forest here.

[Voice]

[sickly_angel]

O-oh! I can try to find a path...

[Just give her a few seconds. As soon as everything around her stops spinning, she can go on her way without keeling over.]

Don't push yourself too hard, Cheria. I'll be there as soon as I can find you. [He doesn't want to find you collapsed from exhaustion.]
