[Cheria is back.

-- is pretty much all Hubert is aware of as he (anxiously) waits for her return at the house. (Though on second thought, he probably should have accompanied his brother, and he's been regretting this the moment Asbel stepped out of the house.) When he hears the door opening and closing, he heads to the entrance to investigate.]

Cheria --

[ . . . oh. What?]

[Well, it looks like Asbel made it back safely with Cheria. You really should have more faith in your brother, Hubert. He's standing in the doorway now, Cheria piggybacking.]

...Hubert...

[Action] For shame, otouto-kun

[Man, Cheria was just enjoying that piggy-back ride. Her head was leaning on Asbel's shoulder and she was about ready to doze off. Still, when she hears Asbel say that name, she instantly looks up with a curious expression.]

Hubert?

[Action] man, everyone's a critic.

Yes . . .

[He doesn't have much time to be speechless, so instead of staring wide-eyed like some kind of a fish, he goes straight for the answer. His gaze travels to the head on Asbel's shoulder.]

How is she?

[He asks Asbel because he's not entirely sure how to address Cheria like this.]

She's fine... [You know, aside from being a little kid. Asbel turns his head to face her now.] ...Right, Cheria?

[Stare. Stare. Stare. Is that really Hubert? She can see the resemblance, but she wasn't expecting this. She was expecting someone... wimpier.]

[At Asbel's question, she snaps out of her thoughts and hastily nods her head.]

O-of course I'm fine!

[Though the fact that she's on his back means she tired herself out . . . ]

We should be eating soon.

[Given the current situation, he thinks she could use some warm food.]

Why don't you rest in the meantime? Cheria.

Mmmn... Yeah. [Asbel crouches down again, this time to let Cheria down. They're inside now, so she doesn't need to piggyback anymore.]

[Aww, Cheria was secretly hoping Asbel would carry her to wherever she's supposed to rest. Of course, she can't object without admitting that she wants to be piggybacked (or fake illness, which would just make her friends worried), so she has no choice but to reluctantly climb down from Asbel's back.]

Ah... Where should I rest?

[She doesn't seem to remember anything beyond her apparent physical age, so he offers two options.]

Brother knows which room, unless you'd prefer the couch.

[Her own in regards to the former, naturally, as it may be more comfortable; though a little lonely there as opposed to the latter, all things considered. He turns partway as he says this, leaving the decision to her.]

[Asbel looks at Cheria expectantly. WHICH WILL IT BE?]

I think... the couch will be fine.

[Then she can stay awake and keep an eye on her friends, because... Why is Hubert so intimidating? Is it because Asbel always played pranks on him? Cheria did always tell him not to tease Hubert, but noooo...! Asbel wouldn't listen!]

[Action] so I hear someone ordered a threadjack

[And it's right about then that Richard returns home, planning to wait for Asbel and Cheria and... oh, looks like they're already there. Well, that makes things easier.]

I see the two of you made it home safely.

[Before he can say anything, another person enters; Hubert turns his head in Richard's direction and nods.]

They just returned.

[Asbel gives a nod in Richard's direction.]
