These parts are short but they certainly are effective. And I'm finding myself liking them a lot so I'll be looking forward to the next couple of parts...And I think this is best when you read several of them at once, to get the full feel of the story.

Thank you so much! :D Yeah, I think these have more of an impact when I post several at once - I'll probably wait until I've finished this and start working on the sequel to actually post them all up. Short stories my life.

Ouch. These may be short, but they have a whole lot of impact. I love your take on Blaine's back story, how you've taken all the bits and pieces we've learned through canon and shaped this from it. It's a really believable portrayal that doesn't stray into the too much territory and is all the more gut-wrenchingly sad for it. Blaine's bitterness and frustration is just heart-breaking. Annd I'm going to stop rambling now.

So, basically, gorgeous. I'll be reading and re-reading in anticipation of the next parts. ♥

Hee, thank you so much! Sitting around during the hiatus made me re-watch some of the episodes and get ridiculously invested in the fact that we don't really know that much about him, so I felt compelled to write something about it.

And yes! I've seen so many fics that make Blaine's backstory really melodramatic and depressing, and I didn't really want to do that. I'm glad you think it's realistic, too! Since that was what I was aiming for, that makes me really happy haha. :D

Thank you so much! I actually had some trouble with this last section and needed to rope my LGBT friends in to help me a bit, so I'm glad this comes off as realistic since I was worried that it was just going to be like ~everyone is a douche~. Hehe.

Oh, thank you! I've seen lots of really great portrayals of Blaine's backstory, but I was sad to not really find that many that were entirely about him and his Issues. And then this happened. :D

Thank you! Blaine's backstory seems to just be full of everyone being rubbish at what they do, but I'm glad you like it. :D It's really fun to write, based on the small amount of stuff we can get from the show. Hopefully I'll wrap this up in the next week and start on the sequel~ except that almost sounds productive, hhmm.
