yesterday I played house. I rocked a baby to sleep, I made supper for three children, I helped with homework and entertained a two year old by hiding my face with my hair, I sang and danced to a Fisher Price CD, I didn't think once about my phone or work or school or the TV, I didn't care that there was pickle juice or cole slaw on my three hundred ( Read more... )

Hey Illona it's Adam. How have you been? That's one of the sweetest things i've read in quite some time know and i just had to post and say how very nice this post was and thank you for posting it. It is amazing how young children can make everything else just melt away. It's been forever since i've been around young children and i miss seeing how they just don't have a care in the world and there just so happy all the time. It's just a great feeling it gives you. Indeed. Upon reading the last line, I just imagined the beginning title to Dawson's Creek.

But seriously, it is a nice gesture, too much focus is put on "whats in it for me?" and what a realization, what was in it for you, occured in a day that couldn't be found in bill form.
