Title: Where the Wrackspurts are
Fandoms: Harry Potter/Labyrinth
Warnings: CRACK!, Gen-ish
Summary:Luna knows the Room of Requirement will provide what she needs.
Author's Plea: It isn't what first came to mind, but I think I might be adding a bit more crack to this... because it is undeniably fun and if I can add Sarah in there, it'll fit into my crossovers100 claim.
The room was missing.
She wandered back and down the hallway, pondering how long the day was without the DA to keep her company and still...
The room was missing.
She wondered if perhaps the wrackspurt she had sensed was interfering with her sense of need. After all, the room would only appear if she needed it to. If she allowed every wrackspurt, heliopath, and carnivorous bunnywort to distract her then perhaps her need wasn't needy enough.
But my, she was lonely. If not the DA room then someplace she could get lost for a bit would be nice.
She stopped moving. It didn't matter.
The room was there.

The girl came from around the corner without warning, concern, or even any apparent purpose. Her feet moved at a lazy pace, something he wasn't familiar with in a place that practically hummed with energy. All the same, that kind of slowness was almost comforting.
"And what are you doing here?"
"I wanted to be lost."
"That's a silly thing to want. Sure yeh didn't wish it?"
"Oh no, wishing is dangerous. Almost as dangerous as an army of angry heliopaths."
"Yeh got that right."
"Of course."
She looked around without any of the many expressions he’d seen on visitors before. There was no confusion or loss or desperation. There was no searching or pleading or anger. Instead there was only mild curiosity in her misty gaze, as if visiting the Labyrinth was nothing out of the ordinary.
"How exactly did yeh get here?"
"I asked the Room nicely. It doesn't always do what I want but it tends to know what I need."
"And yeh needed to visit here?"
"Probably. It’s best not to question the Room."
He snorted at the statement though he wasn't exactly sure why. After all, he didn't have much experience in consistently questioning or not questioning anything.
"Aren't yeh gonna do anything? Thought yeh were here to get lost."
"I already am. The door back to the Room closed already. I think I have to find it again."
"Well, don't go lookin' for any trouble. We got too much of that already."
"Thank you."
"Bah... If yeh need anything..."
The girl smiled fondly, an expression that seemed familiar on her distant features.
"I'll call."
