I want...

I want to write again. I miss it. I miss feeling creative. The ideas float just at the edge of my fingers but wither as soon as I touch the keyboard. What now?

Try drabbling? Baby steps!

If you're in a Sess/Kag mood, you're most welcome to join us at dokuga_contest, but if you want to keep your options more open, there's a new community. Take a look at fanfic_bakeoff, a multi-fandom challenge community which will be opening for business tomorrow night. (Go, Team Cake!)

Write longhand in a notebook while you're outside. No one has to know, no one has to see. You'd just be writing for you.

You're such a fine writer - come back to us! Or, just keep writing, something, somehow.

just let it come. don't force it, silly. wait until you can't resist. i find it easier to write when overcome by strong emotion, but some people just write based on a whim or when in a certain setting. in any case, it'll come back to you eventually, and you'll produce something of excellent quality as you always do.

Ever try talk-to-text programs like Dragon Naturally Speaking? Or just a plain old tape recorder? I've noticed that ideas that pop out verbally during a discussion,at times will lose their clarity when going the process of physically writing it out. It is odd, but sometimes having to use your hands to translate what is inside the brain can create this strange barrier to creativity. Ragnell.. and your muse is still alive and kicking - I can hear it.
