I hope people enjoy Drive and for Nathan and Tim's sake I hope they have a hit, but the show is not for me. Putting aside some writing issues I have, my big problem is that I have a big problem with reckless drivers. So watching a show where innocent bystanders can get hurt and killed is not entertaining to me ( Read more... )

I surprisingly liked SGA, which was teetering on the edge for me, especially knowing what's coming. I think RDA actually helped because the snark made me laugh and I was impressed by the diving stunts. And I liked Woolsey's real-person reactions to the situation.

I think RDA helped with my enjoyment of the show. We'll have to see if they can sustain my attention without him and wacky plot turns. ;)

Was The Face of Bao (sp) referring to Martha when he told the Doctor he was not alone or is he not the last Time Lord?

I interpreted it as meaning there's another time lord somewhere. While I don't dislike Martha at all, I continue to be distinctly underwhelmed by her. I think Ahab hit on the reason why here. http://ahab99.livejournal.com/403906.html#cutid1
She's too much like Rose. Take away her hitting on the doctor, and a few lines of medical knowledge, and it could have been early Rose saying her lines.
