I love Lily too...for her attitude toward her brother and accepting him so quickly, like saying 'child' instead of 'son' immediately, and comforting him. Yey!

I've never read a fic that explored trangender, and I'm really looking forward to more in this fic. Wonderful writing, you had me feeling Al's emotions right along with him. Lily was a gem--I loved how immediately accepting she was.

I'm just catching up on the first week's submissions to the ass carnival and I'm so glad I came across this. This was fantastic. Intriguing and realistic and emotional, and I can't wait until the next chapter.
