profuse apologies for rampant pluggage / plea, however my band (talanas) have just been shortlisted to play the main stage at damnation festival this november. it's a hell of a chance that's been thrown our way and would allow us to share the stage with major acts such as paradise lost and dillinger escape plan

that's a terrible voting system, it appears to track usage through cookies I think as I testing it using google chrome in incognito mode and it allowed me to vote again. not that I advocate vote rigging at all, but it's not even limiting it by ip address. It's worth bearing in mind if any rivals suddenly shoot up in popularity...... I'm trying to work out if I feel bad for voting 3 times as part of the experiment...

very interesting. hmm.

we have had stern word (sent in general to all acts) about how they're monitoring the votes and watching for bots or blatant rigging. they'll be disqualifying acts if they sniff raw egg-fish or whatever. i'm suggesting to most people that they stick to once a day if they're ok to keep doing it.

any vote is helping, quite frankly.
