Last night I got a call. The caller ID said "County, Rutherford" (A county here in North Carolina) and I thought to myself, "It must be for Allie, there's no one in Rutherford County I want to talk to!" I was mistaken. That's pretty cool. I wonder who, if anyone, would call me if they could? I'm glad you have good memories of your accomplishments while you were in the Marines...you should...that was some hard junk you had to do.

I'm sure someone out there would love to call and talk to you. Likewise, if there are people like that in your life, I would encourage you to call them. It is a wonderful experience! (said with a lithp)

It is. It gets your brain churning in a different way than normal. It changes perspectives, sheds light, and refreshes both good and bad times (which, fortunately for us, are never remembered as severely as when they happened.)
