I found out this morning, quite by accident, that The Avengers is still playing at the AMC Painters Crossing 9, which I pass on my way home from work... it's only there through this Thursday, apparently (or at least I have no information on showtimes past that), but perhaps I'll stop for the 6:30 show this evening and see it for the fifteenth time

That would be great - too bad I'm up in PA... Always nice to have congenial company for fannish outings :-) I think that for the casual, non-obsessed fan, it's worth seeing a few times in the theater. (I managed to get a few people out for multiple viewings, but they seem to draw the line at 2 or 3 times.)

It's just started playing at the Arlington (VA) Cinema & Drafthouse, if you're enough in need of a fix to warrant a road trip. ;-)

Ooh, if it stays there for a while, I might just have to make the trek. It's almost nine weeks to the DVD/BluRay release date, I may have serious withdrawal symptoms by then ;')

I miss our local Cinema Cafe, where you could watch 2nd release films with a hamburger and a beer.
