Bad day got weird

It's been an odd day today made odder by one of those weird moments when Mother says something that totally disarms me. She has read someone's experiences of Endometriosis and realised how horrible it can be. She understands at last. That made me really sad and happy all at once

Endometriosis is such a tough thing. I'm sorry she didn't get it fully from your own experiences.

I'm glad she finally understands at least. I have the same problem with my mother, hopefully one day she'll do the same thing yours has done! It may not be the best of ways for her to finally get it, but now that she does that's a very positive thing.

I know it cost you a lot but it is better now, you don't talk to me like you used before the operation and since you have JW but I have assumed that it was better but I know if you get migration that can be really painful as well, so how are things?

Little understood/misunderstood illnesses are the pits, especially when people close to us don't get it either.
