It is hard - there's a fine line between being confident, and seeming arrogant. But, here are some things that you should avoid in application letters:
+ Don't state the obvious - building positive relationships with pupils/parents will automatically mean a positive atmosphere in school.
+ Don't put "some" anywhere - it sounds weak.
+ Avoid giving long explanations - when you get to interview, you can use the STAR technique - Situation Task Action Result. A canny interviewier will ask you about this based on your application.
