Another media mess

Somehow, when I clicked to read this story on CNN, I never expected to see Asperger's mentioned.

She quietly and peacefully committed suicide to escape the ravages to her brain brought on by Asperger's

Not much I can really say to that, other than reiterating that if anyone is this world is suffering from a metal deficiency, I defenitely think that would have to be the MEDIA.

I want to read the story that says "the MEDIA quietly and peacefully committed sucide so that we all can escape it's lack of research and skewing of the facts when it comes to Aspergers."

The ironic thing is that the information listed below seems to contradict what is said in the news article. I think it's a lack of understanding of it to be honest.

I'm glad the news / information makes it out. I am not glad the media must dramatize, skew and otherwise exploit things for ratings. The media loves to forgetfully reject interview material and replace it with their own impressions that confirm their own biases.

I'm sad that parents don't see the roots of problems in children and force them to continue status quo education, harmful situations etc. But the parent in this video did say something about there not being really any service.

I didn't notice it before, but she was also a preemie. She had vision problems (perhaps due to her prematurity.) She has several (four?) children from various relationships. There was a lot going on there.

I found the way she died interesting- a plastic bag and helium.
