Quick first impression of Berlin

Can I just say how much more like Italy Berlin is than Munich from an olfactory perspective? That whole German cleanliness/personal hygine rep they´ve got just isn´t being lived up to here in the capital of the nation

I know someone who went to Montenegro not too long ago and they noted the same thing. Especially at outdoor markets where no meat or fish is kept on ice and is swarming with insects... yet people happily buy it and never get sick. Maybe WE'RE the weird ones? Dun dun dun.

I maintain that any country that can't figure out that fishmaggots aren't a delicacy, and that deoderant is a good idea, should not be our cultural goal.
