[All Erik had to do was call. That's all he had to do, and she'd come to him. So that's what he'd do. She felt distant to him and Erik wanted to mend this. What better way than through music?
So he calls for her, voice soft and beckoning. Difficult to ignore. Difficult to resist.]
[Erik's grip on the music tightens. No. That can't be right. e moves past her to look through the rest of the music and god there's all of Anna's version of Don Juan there. Erik what were you on?]
[When he's cued, he begins his part. He knows his part well, so it's sang with confidence. His eyes are fixed on Anna, to see what sort of effect the music was having on her and drawing her closer with each word that he sang.]
[She's moving carefully - she'd ended up pretty injured protecting Phoenix, but by now (and after a visit to the ships terrifying doctor), she was remarkably better. That and her mutated genes cause faster regeneration. She finds she likes this about herself now.
She steps closer as she sings, voice dancing over the notes and she locks eyes with him, lips curving into a soft smile.]
[He returns her smile. She seems comfortable with the music, which pleases Erik. He moves closer to her as he sings. His moves are graceful, as he slowly walks out of her line of sight to stand behind her, arm catching her around the waist and fingers moving up her midsection.]
[Very comfortable with it, Anna is 100% into this and very much at ease with him and her situation. She leans back in against him, body rocking as she's caught and her head tilts back.
She's also had a lot going on recently. Things just do not ever go well for the shifter.
However, a familiar voice coming from her communicator breaks through her mind and jerks her out of her thoughts.]
Teacher...?

Snooping?
[Anna's confused.]
I only took what had my name on it, as instructed to do.

This particular piece was not left out. It was not meant to be found.
[So clearly you snooped around to find it D:<]

It was in the stack, Maître.

...
Anna, no one was to know this exists.

But...I do not understand. Why? It...it is very well written, a wonderful piece of music.
Reply
Because. Only one was meant to exist.
[Christine's version. And she'd be so upset if she knew another copy existed that was not hers.]
Anna, you've already seen it, so I will allow you to keep it.
[Cannot unring the bell, after all.]
But you must promise me, swear to me that no one else will see it.
Reply
I promise.
[She holds her hand out to take it back. Let her sing it for you, Erik.]

It is a duet. Allow me to accompany you, if you wish to sing it.
