I loved this so much. Your take on the tourney is one of the freshest I've seen. Most fics seem very . . . restricted, and mostly focus on the Lyanna/Rhaegar scene. But there was so much more to it, and I love your spin on these events. One of my favorite parts was Aerys announcing his "dislike" for men who hide their faces. Added to the fact that his son will be participating in a masque . . . that was chilling. I can't compliment this fic enough, it was so good!!

I had a wonderful time writing it and imagining what might have happened to shape the events to where we find them in canon. (And I cannot imagine Aerys having any patience for people who he thinks might be lying to him.)

I'm sorry I didn't comment on this sooner but I had to wait until I could devote a couple of hours to reading this epic. Thank you very much. This is much more than I'd hoped for. The multiple POVs really made it feel like something from the series.
