By the way, is that icon from the last PotC movie and do you perchance know of anywhere in fandom that focuses on those two characters? They were my favorite part of the movie.

Yes it is! And there's fuckyeahphilipandsyrena on tumblr, as well as syrenaphilip on Livejournal. I'm not sure how active these are, but that's all I could find at the time.

OH GOD I LOVED THIS. I just love fics of the Starks before everything went to hell in a handbasket, and I love seeing them through bb!Theon's eyes as he tries to adjust to his new home and the people in it. Poor Theon!! You can see the warmth and love in the Stark family, and yet there's a definite feeling that he's on the outside of it. I love his shock at seeing Ned smile, because he sees Ned as his stern captor (and OMG OF COURSE NED WOULD SMILE AT BB!SANSA SINGING THE ALPHABET OMGGGGG LET ME DIE OF CUTE). Basically I just loved seeing the bb Starks (Arya always crying, YES SHE WOULD) and bb Theon and I have so many Theon feeeeeeeels!

Most adorable fic ever. bb!Sansa singing the alphabet and Robb including Jon in everything he does and Ned smiling and Cat being a smart mother who lets them play for an hour before their lessons ... so perfect. And it was really great to see them through Theon's eyes, that made for a really interesting perspective. Beautiful fic.

Eee, Theon! I love this little slice of life, and the insight into his relationship with all the Stark siblings and Cat and Ned. The contrast between the family scene and what he’s actually there for works really well, and I love that he has that question on his mind, about his status as a hostage and what if his father doesn't care - and how he’s just really looking for approval and a place to belong. I love Cat’s canniness with the boys too, letting them play now so they’ll concentrate later. And this line:

Theon wanted to hate Robb Stark, but the boy believed his parents when they told him that Theon was his new foster brother.

I really really love this line, because it basically sums up Robb and Theon's relationship and everything that went wrong with it. Thank you, mystery author - this is really sweet and insightful, and I really enjoyed ut.

I'm sorry I couldn't provide a more substantial fic. I only had a few days to write once it became clear the person assigned to write for you wasn't going to send in a fic, and all my tired brain could come up with was fluff.
