I love the Jon/Melisandre. It's wonderfully dark and twisted. And I loved Jon in this. Dutiful as ever even if it means murdering a woman carrying his child. It adds more wonderful darkness and depth to a character who's a bit too *good* for my liking in the series so far.

Thanks. I pretty much figured when I wrote this that people would either HATE or LOVE what I'd done with Jon, but I see him so much as as some one who acts rather than is acted upon. I could have made him a passive victim but it just didn't work for me. I'm glad this worked better for you too/

... Holy crap. I just... oh my god, I have no words. You've managed to pull off so many amazing feats in this by extending these four characters into directions that make so much sense! Now I can't see them evolving in any other way and damn, yeah, the Jon/Melisandre? Incredibly hot, and I really enjoyed the Littlefinger/Sansa.

And oh man, the last line? Perfect. Well done!

Thank you. They all have such great complex character fodder to work with that I spend a considerable amount of time trying to decide where they'd end up (the Littlefinger/Sansa had like 4 different possible endings) so I am glad to hear that the choices I made seemed genuine.

Wow! I don't know where to start!

I love how at the very end Sansa has learnt Littlefinger's lessons well enough things can change the instant she has someone else she can depend on and at the same time he's about to let her go because he has too. She really has learnt from him. And Littlefinger's gratitude that Harrold is a brute.

And I didn't even ask for it but eeee pregnancy

I also really like Petyr's repeating thoughts that have him disliking the Starks, especially this. Jon looks like Brandon Stark, that arrogant lordling, and Petyr wishes him nothing but ill. Such a nice touch and so true to the him.

And OMG Jon following his duty to the last, really perfect twisted ending to a very twistedly hot relationship.

I really loved this thank you so much.

I'm so glad that you liked it. I spent forever trying to decide what to do with Petyr and Sansa and in the end I realized that it had to be bittersweet rather than tragic or redemptive exactly because Littlefinger has taught her so well and they are the king and queen on the Game of Thrones now.

I'm glad the pregnancy was a plus rather than a minus... it just popped up in both plots for some reason.

Yes, Petyr's dislike of the Starks was, I thought, important, because you can really trace the start of his social climbing to his conflict with them.

Jon is all duty... there really couldn't have been another ending, in my opinion.

Again I am so happy you liked this, because when I read your request it worked well with what I had but I wasn't sure about certain elements not mentioned... you know?

eeeee!! Can I fangirl this? Because you really deserve it. Two very, very twisted relationships that somehow make so much sense and the characters... they fit there. You can see Sansa as truly Littlefinger's creation and she's just as easily moving on and going with the tides of power, and he's letting her because that's what he does and it's awesome.

Melisandre. The wicked witch is dead! Yay. But she got some hot sex before hse went. I really like this version of Jon, too. He's very Stark-Targaryen here, which is a really different take. So very cool (hot? um, you know what I mean).

Fangirling is always encouraged.

Yeah I've always shipped Littlefinger/Sansa (well since the last book anyway) but when I saw the Jon/Melisandre request I couldn't ignore it. It's just so ridiculously dynamic and unexpected.

Yeah, I've been waiting for Melisandre to die for 3 books now, but I felt I had to humanize her first. I seriously agonized for a long time about how to do it. But yeah, I am glad people seem to be enjoying the harsher Jon, because I was totally worried I was going to get crucified for defiling people's precious. He's one of my favorite characters, but what I do to favorite characters and what others do is totally different sometimes.

This exchange is exceeding expectations, really - so many awesome fics, and this one goes with the trend! I can't say which part I loved more - Jon/Melisandre was HOT, with all its dom/sub dynamics (and ajkfjshfk;, Jon talking dirty! *drools*), but I laso liked the psychological insight in the Sansa/Petyr. I also liked how you tied the two storylines together in the end - it makes a lot of sense, plotwise, and still it's sort of a twist. Excellent!

Thank you. Originally they were going to be tied together more thematically instead of plot wise, but then I realized the possibility for an actual threat to Sansa and Petyr's relationship by introducing Jon into that mix and I just couldn't resist.

I am just so glad that people other than me thought this was a good idea... I was half afraid people were going to be like "what the hell"

So I am extremely hopeful that Sansa might poison Littlefinger now.

For him to die by poison would be extremely poetic.
