Oh yes. It's weird how Ned/Lyanna is gradually becoming a very real 'ship for me in this fandom instead of merely happy speculation. I especially love how this fic goes into Ned's interaction with Cersei in regards to her relationship with Jaime - always something I found deeply telling in regards to Ned/Lyanna. *grin*

Again, I feel so weird loving Ned/Lyanna because I have Lyanna in my head, but this was just too well done for me to feel guilty for long. I like that it's just a little snippet, a glimpse into the past. Leaves a lot to the imagination. Excellent.

Wow. That repetition at the end completely makes the fic. I love how Lyanna gets to him at some level before the duty and honor that is so ingrained in Ned.
