Oh poor Sansa, another rough turn of events with such little hope in sight. I like Jaime's bitterness about the KG and Cersei and also calling Brienne's name out -- I thought at first it would've been Cersei's, for some reason or other. And I can really see Sansa struggling between doing her duty and acting on behalf of her own anger and indignation, and always always trying to find the silver lining. Thanks so much for this, it was the prompt I thought least about and expected the least, so thanks for taking on the hard one and giving me such a great piece!

This is so beautiful and so sad. And though I'm usually a Tywin fan, you make me hate him in this fic. My favorite part is Sansa momentarily wondering why Tywin is asking her about Jaime; it just captures everything perfectly.
