[Chilled to the bone by the noises, Winry leaves before the feed even ends. She's out the door and to the apartment that the Hughes' live in. She knows no amount of running will be able to get her there in time to help - even if it did, she'd be useless - but she has to be there. She knows she'll find the place a mess. Winry knows. But it doesn't stop her. The only point at which she slows her pace is when she approaches the threshold of the place.
