[A relatively normal day, so far. Elicia'd been coloring up pictures of pirates (fire-breathing lions were soooo last week) and was generally relaxing in her new setting. Lots of new friends and happy times! But as she finished up Mr. Pirate's peg-leg, she happened to notice, by chance, something out the apartment's windows...

[Terra is heading home from the library...or at least she was, but that plan is soon derailed. The chirping earns an idle glance, and that's when she spots the little girl climbing. Immediately, she rushes over.]

Elicia?

[Elicia jumps a little and turns, though is considerably cheery and calm when she realizes it's a familiar face.]

Hi, Ms. Terra!

[Terra winces when she jumps, relieved that she doesn't make the girl fall.]

What are you doing? Do you need some help?

[asobouyo]

[Elicia shakes her head, smiling like she just found a treasure chest.]

No, I'm fine! I was just saying hi to the birdies.

[Well, here be Selim passing on by and coming across Elicia. Vaguely he recognized her from school...but there was something else he knew too, right?]

What are you doing?

[She notices the other boy and smiles.]

W-well, there was a birdy outside that was hurt, and I followed it and there were babies here in this tree!

A bird? [He looks around for this said bird and then at the hole in the tree]

Did the bird go back into the tree? Is it going to be okay?

I-I don't really know... I lost track of it here...

[Kyrie is passing through when she notices Elicia in the tree, so have another small girl looking up at you.]

Um, w-why are you up there in the tree?

[asobouyo]

[She smiles and looks down.]

There's baby birds in this hole right here! They're sooo cute!! You wanna see, too?

[nightsofrain]

R-really? [Oh my gosh baby birds do want. But then she frowns upon realizing something.]

...B-but I don't know how to climb the tree.

Oh! It's not too tough, 'cause these roots aren't too big~! You just have to use your hands and knees lots until you're up a little higher!

[She sits on her bum, dangling her feet a little over the end.]

[a little blond girl climbing up a tree to save (?) birds... this is almost something straight out of his childhood, as is the memory of Kotori almost falling out of said tree. he rushes over]

W-what are you doing up there?

I found baby birds, but I was waiting to see if I could find the mama-it had a hurt wing! [She motions her arm in the air to mimic this mother bird.]

Have you seen it, mister??

With a hurt wing...? [looks around] Where did you see it?

I-I followed it here, and then it just went away somewhere! I've been looking for it all over...

[Elicia shakes her head at the new face.]

No, I'm just saying hi to the babies~

I'm a good tree climber!

[Though she's only done this twice in her young life. :|a]
