asnowyowlTitle: Climbing the Stairway
Pairing: Severus/Harry
Summary: Comfort can be found where least expected.
Warnings: Harry is 17. AU in that the war is over and Snape lived. Harry cries a bit and Snape probably isn't wholly in character.

Oh, and I liked the music. :D I generally like it if music is a part of fics in that way and not in a songfic way, but I rarely read that with Snape.
Nice job!

It's the first time I've incorporated music into a fic, and I enjoyed doing it.

So lovely (and fluffy).

I always feel a bit weird about writing a fluffy Snarry. *shudders*
But, yeah, I get the same 'feel' from this one as I did Saturday's Child. I'm glad of that because it's one of my favorites that I've written.

I loved Severus being in character, and being haunted by his past. Only to find comfort with Harry in a platonic way at first. That can only grow into a deep seeded respect for each other. So much so that neither Harry or Severus can bare to be without the other.
I wouldn't exactly call it love to start with. But it definately grew into that. And I don't think Harry would want Severus any other way, than the snarky self concious man that he is.
Great choice of songs too by the way. AC/DC Rocks!!! I so want to go see them next year when they are in Queensland, but both concerts soldout in record time.

I had so much fun picking the songs for this. And, yeah, AC/DC does rock, so I had to at least mention them in the notes. You can imagine how fun the research was--figuring out which bands were playing in London in 1976.

At least you picked something with Bon Scott instead of Brian (whatshisname)
One of my favourite of their older songs is Dirty deeds or Highway to Hell or Long way to the top.
Actually there are too many that are my favourites it's hard to choose.
