My allergies are torturous today. I forgot how much the pollen down here bugs me. Still I'd rather suffer than take medication and be sleepy. Hopefully tomorrow will be better

Sad faces, now; I won't be able to go to Moot. Too many responsibilities around here, I'm afraid. But the other Heathens in the hoousehold are going, so you can make a sort-of happy face.
Mead, eh? Like, when? I would love to mail-order some. John's bees look like they are going to make it after all (there was some doubt, since they arrived during the nasty-wasty snowstorm a few weeks ago). I might even try my hand at making some mead again. Ooh, the thought is making me thirsty!
BTW, I liked the Heathen Haiku. Keep it up, maybe Hester could have some competition as the kindred poet laureate =-)
I must say I was quite looking forward to sharing a fire with you again. If it must wait until August, it must. I've charted out my journey and I figure it's gonna take me 9-10hrs. That's a long time to talk to myself.
With my first paycheck from the winery, I think I'm going to order 48lbs of honey from a magazine I've got. It's a little over a hundred dollars total. I'll order 3 different varieties. I'm going to try and convince those who hold the financial purse strings of the winery to do the same so that we can sell some yuletide mead next year. In any event my 15 gallons will be for personal use. No sense visiting Heathens if you can't load the car full of mead before you go. ;D
Ruth and I didn't pay ahead either. You should contact Dan and Hester and let them know that you want to be in the same cabin, I think Dan's going to be helping with gate, maybe he will be able swing things.
Strangely, you showing up inspired me to do something neat. If it turns out,I'll send you a picture. I'm not an artist, but it might work.Woo!Thanks again!
