I don't watch television much - that's my dad's domain (the computer is mine, and peace reigns in our house xD).  But my dad's been away for a few days, so i ventured towards that particular form of media to see what it had to offer.

OMG I LOVE SWAY. I start dancing whenever it comes on the radio (i've heard many versions of it on the radio) i feel like dancing right there.
yes, that time was great.... i'm really enjoying listening to all these songs...

Frank Sinatra is pretty great, isn't he? I love how, thanks to technology like the internet, people can rediscover great music.

He is! And yes, it's pretty awesome that the internet allows that - though, it's highly unreliable too - i came across a lovely song which was supposedly by Frank Sinatra but didn't sound like him at all - and after a little investigation i found out that it was by someone called Frankie Valli! and then, later, i found LOTS of songs which were clearly not Sinatra but were all listed under his name, LOL! :/ XD

i watched Fred Astair yesterday too, lots of it! oh he was such a dancer, wow!! it was magical, watching him and Ginger Rogers.
Gene Kelly... i must find out more about him.

Hilarious! That's ol' Blue Eyes indeed. I love his voice too :-)

See, I don't have a TV (Long story involving realizing I'd not even plugged it in for more than 6 months so why oh why was I paying for Cable TV and a TV license? I'm saving quite a bit of money having gotten rid of it and I don't miss it at all)

Sinatra did many many great films (check Wikipedia) so I'm sure you could find more if you wanted!

i would like to see more! and not just his, but from that era... yesterday and today, i heard a bit of Dean Martin, and watched bits of Fred Astair, Ginger Rogers and Rita Hayworth too, and was completely sucked into it... i would love to find out more!
