Samuel is already out of Cardio ICU !!!

Samuel was moved from Cardio ICU to the ordinary pediatric post surgery ICU this afternoon. He is doing well.

He still has the chest tube (which should come out tomorrow, Friday) and the catheter (to avoid the movement for diaper changes).

We are told he may come home as soon as Saturday instead of next Wednesday.

Praise God. That is good news. I hope he will recover quickly from the trauma, both physically and emotionally. Holding him a lot and seeing that his nurturing needs are met will help him to recover in both ways.
