I'm so sad but I really think leaving is for the best

May 09, 2009 11:13

My friend at the Time Agency has convinced me that I need to leave, at least for a while, so I'm saying good bye to all my friends at Torchwood in Cardiff today. I asked Ianto for some souvenirs and I now have a charming dragon key fob that surprisingly matches one my dad keeps in his pocket. I wish I'd thought to ask where he got it. He wrote ( Read more... )

Er, Goodbye then.

(This is like being told on your first day at work to sign cards for people who are leaving, and having to contribute cash to a gift for someone you will NEVER work with.)

*wave* Nice meeting you.

Oh, you needn't contribute to a gift for me. Besides, I'll be back. I just want your Doctor to keep his mind clear and I fully understand why being with him is so confusing for him.

Oh, well, in that case, here's my phone number. So I can show you around the next time you're in Cardiff...

Thank you. That's so kind. I can see why the other Doctor appreciates you so much.

Martha and her friends have showed me a lot of Cardiff already but I'm sure there's much, much more to see.

I'll be available for you.

That sounded so much better before I said it! Anyway, stay in touch.

You know her, umm...

Does she look like you?

Once again it sounded a lot better before I said it.

No, silly. I'm a blonde and she's not. But she looks like a girl, is that what you meant?

She wears dresses a lot. I don't understand why because it's sometimes hard to run in such silly garments. But she likes them.

Did you know that someone has used the dark side of your moon as a trash receptacle?

Yep, the Apollo moon landings in the 1960s and 70s left a lot of nasty stuff rather than carry it into orbit, including human waste in bags. Not all people on this planet then as now agreed with that choice.

Er, she's a girly-type girl is she, T? I think that was one of the things I had underneath my question to you. Way far underneath other stuff actually. Aha ha ahem *cough*.

I've no idea what a girly-type girl is but she doesn't like big rifles and the other things that the boys here seem to like. I know she likes flowers but she also likes swords.

I don't think I'm helping much, am I?

On the contrary, always good to know when your blind date is armed or not... When I meet up with T we'll likely be talking about most of the things you and I have been talking about just now...Say hello for me.

Er, don't forget to ring when you are coming back to Cardiff will you. Give me advanced warning.

So I can plan ahead. That's it, so we can enjoy ourselves more together.*NGRRRGH*

Bye now, travel safe.

Oh, she won't be armed. She's giving Captain Harkness all those rifles. I don't think she got him any Dalek piercing ammunition for him, though. You've more to worry about if she challenges you to hand-to-hand because I've been coaching her.
